Guilford

David Dickerman Dudley died June 9. He was born in Manhattan, New York, on Oct. 8, 1937, and adopted by Irving and Barbara Dudley of Guilford.

He attended local schools, graduating from UConn and the Brown School of Banking. His working life was spent at The Guilford Savings Bank, where he began as a teller, eventually serving as president from 1970 until his retirement in 1996.

He was an active volunteer, chairing the Community Fund drive. He was a board member of Chestnut Hill Concerts, Alderbrook Cemetery, the Guilford Green Committee, the Jaycees, the Guilford Foundation, and the Guilford Keeping Society, among others.

He is survived by his wife of 58 Years, Suzanne, their son Matthew and daughter Joanna Sullivan, and three grandchildren. He is missed.
