Janice E. Zukoski, 76, of Northford passed away peacefully on June 7 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford, with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Robert S. Zukoski. Janice was born in New Haven on July 22, 1940, daughter of the late Charles and Ruth Brown Cole.

She was the mother of James Zukoski, Marge (David) Boudreaux, and the late Larry Zukoski; the grandmother of Matthew and Olivia Boudreaux and Ashley Zukoski; and the sister of Robert (Trina) Cole. She is also survived by her beloved dog Murphy.

Family and friends are invited to go directly to Northford Cemetery, Foote Hill Road, Northford, June 12 to attend a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. The visiting hours will be June 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 2572 Whitney Ave., Hamden, CT 06518, and the Closer to Free Fund, PO Box 1849, New Haven, CT 06508, which jointly supports Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven and Yale Cancer Center.
