Joseph Pacelli, Jr., 74, of North Branford, beloved husband of 53 years to Patricia Martino Pacelli, passed away on May 4 in Connecticut Hospice.

He was the brother of Andrew (and the late Linda) Pacelli of Milford, Scott (Anne) Pacelli of West Haven, and the late Robert (and the late Jacqueline) Pacelli. He was the godfather of Pasquale Juliano IV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Joe is also survived by his close friends Marc and Jennifer Mongillo and family.

Joe was born in New Haven on Aug. 17, 1942, son of the late Joseph and Rose Tomaso Pacelli, Sr. He served his country proudly as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked construction and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Relatives and friends were invited to a Mass of Christian burial May 8 in St. Augustine Church. Interment with Military Honors was private. There were no calling hours.
