Antoinette Longobardi Gallo, 72, of East Haven, beloved wife of the late Tommaso Gallo, passed away on April 22 in Yale-New Haven Hospital. Antoinette was born in New Haven on May 23, 1944, daughter of the late Angelo and Raye Limoncelli Longobardi.

At the time of her death Antoinette was an upholsterer for Wilson Furniture and Richard’s Upholstering of Wallingford.

She was the loving mother of Angela (Joseph) Richardson, Sr., of Milford; Cheryl (Keith) Bouve of East Haven; Michele (Kent) Taft of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts; Vincent Purificato of East Haven; and Anthony “AJ” (Jennifer) Purificato of Guilford. She was the grandmother of Nicole, Joseph, Anthony, Nicholas, Jason, Melissa, Meghan, Zachary, Christopher, Noah, and Nathan; and the sister of Neil (Barbara) Longobardi of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Matthew (Bernadette) Longobardi of East Haven.

Her funeral procession left the Porto Funeral Home, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven, April 26. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church. Interment followed in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends called April 25. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Smilow Cancer Hospital at YNHH Closer to Free Fund, P.O.
