Lillian R. Santagata of Stony Creek died April 17 at her home. She was the beloved and devoted wife of Jerry Santagata for the past 68 years. Lillian was born Oct. 6, 1928, in New Haven, daughter of the late Bruno and Mary Kacenski.

Besides her husband, Lillian is survived by her children Jerry (Enza) Santagata of Ivoryton, Daniel (Kim) Santagata of Stony Creek, and Linda (Michael) Tom of Greenwich; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was greatly loved and will be missed by her family.

The funeral left from the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 N. Main St., Branford, April 21 for a Mass of Christian burial in St. Therese Church. Burial followed in St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford. Friends called prior to the funeral. For an online memorial, visit www.wsclancy.com.
