Richard Kenneth Paige, 63, of East Haven, beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully on April 21 at Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford, surrounded by his family. He was born in New Haven on Dec. 23, 1953, to the late Kenneth and Meryl (Jones) Paige.

Rick was a graduate of Amity High School and worked professionally for many years as a plumber. He enjoyed sharing his passions with everyone he met, including photography, collecting coins and Yale memorabilia, as well as tinkering with his tools to restore antique items.

In addition to his wife of 21 years, Judi (Thompson) Paige, Rick is survived by his loving daughter Ashley Paige; his brother-in-law Gregory Thompson; and his bulldog “Petunia,” with whom he resided. He was preceded in death by his sister Gloria Goldman of Shelton.

The family will receive friends on April 27 from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6:30 p.m. in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Interment will be private.
