Roberta (Robin) Temple of Pawson Park Road, Branford, and Parsonsfield, Maine, died April 23 in Branford. She was the widow of John C. Temple.

She was the beloved mother of Scott C. Temple (Diane) of Branford and Jennifer T. Eisele (Michael) of Madison. She was the grandmother of Meredith Zipper (Sean) and Stephen Temple, and of Kendall, Caroline, and Keely Eisele; and the great-grandmother of Michael Zipper. She was the sister of Marcia Close of McLean, Virginia; she was predeceased by her sister Barbara Lovely.

Mrs. Temple was born in Dover, Massachusetts, on April 29, 1927, a daughter of the late Willard and Leah Smith. She attended the former Perry Normal School in Boston. She taught kindergarten in the Branford school system for 31 years, and was inducted into the Branford Education Hall of Fame in 2007.

Funeral Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. The W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home in Branford is in charge of arrangements.
