Pat Morrison (Dzielak) beloved mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend died peacefully on April 6 at the age of 76.

Pat is survived by her two sons, Rick Ostop and his wife Darcy of Cardiff, California, and Rob Ostop and his wife Lisa and her two grandsons, Jaret and Logan Ostop of Madison. She is also survived by her brother Bill Dzielak and his wife Roz of Hartland, their three sons, and seven grandchildren. Pat is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Helen Dzielak of Tariffville.

Pat was born on Jan. 22 in West Suffield and lived in Tariffville most of her life. As a single mom, she worked at Arrow Concrete in East Granby, and went to night school to get her CNA degree in nursing. Pat worked most of her career and retired from McLean Home in Simsbury, as a CNA. There she met lifelong friend Shirley Dowlin-Mason, who was at her bedside when she passed.

Pat was a generous, kind, loving individual who devoted herself to her two sons, family, and friends. She was also passionate about her work with the elderly. She was a dedicated, active member of many organizations in her life and enjoyed volunteering her time with friend Terry Salls for her high school reunion group from Granby Memorial High School.

The funeral will be a private ceremony at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to McLean Home, Simsbury, or Connecticut Hospice, Branford. The family would like to thank caregiver Una Archer and the staffs at the Madison Senior Center, the Madison House, and Connecticut Hospice for their care and dedication.
