East Haven

Debra Koch DellaMonica, 66, of East Haven, beloved wife of 41 years to the late Louis J. DellaMonica, passed away on April 17 in Connecticut Hospice. She was the loving mother of Carrie (Jim) Fielding of New London and Suzanne (Rob) Wardle of East Haven. She was the grandmother of Bria and Emily Fielding and Alexis and Reece Wardle. She was the sister of Linda (Stephen) Fedun of Prospect, David (Gloria) Koch of New London, and the late Sandra Valentine.

Debra was born in Waterbury on March 7, 1951, daughter of the late Philip W. and Barbara Bidwell Koch. She was a special friend of Edward and Carol Youle of Waterbury. At the time of her death, Debra was the secretary for the Christ Episcopal Church of Ansonia. Debra enjoyed volunteering her time at the Our Lady of Pompeii Church Carnival and the East Haven Food Pantry.

Her funeral procession will leave the Porto Funeral Home, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven, April 21 at 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
