Guilford

Carol Keeler Bredbury, 87, longtime resident of Guilford, passed away peacefully March 23. She was the wife of the late David O. Bredbury. Carol was born in Foxon on Nov. 12, 1929, daughter of the late Dwight Keeler and Olidine Barrett Keeler.

Before retiring Carol worked as an administrative assistant at her husband’s company Finest Tool, Co. She enjoyed family, friends, her cats, traveling, and quilting.

She was the loving mother of Alan Bredbury and his wife Cherie of Clinton and Douglas Bredbury and his wife Cindy of Durham. She was the grandmother of Chad, Erin, and David Bredbury. Carol is also survived by ten great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Bob Keeler and wife Nancy of Foxon and Shirley Janssen of Madison. She was predeceased by a sister, Joan Novak.

Funeral services will be held April 4 at 11:00 a.m. in the North Guilford Congregational Church, 159 Ledge Hill Rd., Guilford. Friends may call April 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St., Guilford. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
