Raffaella (Rae) J. Vollono Curcio entered into rest at home on Jan. 31. She was the wife of the late Joseph G. Curcio, Sr.

She was the mother of Joseph G. Jr. (Roberta), Robert (Catherine), and Mark (Robin) Curcio; the sister of Fred (Jean) Vollono, Linda (Jose) Velazquez, and the late Anthony Vollono, Sr.; and the sister-in-law of Joan Vollono. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Rae was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her family. For many years she taught ceramics. She also enjoyed watching the Syfy channel.

Her funeral left the East Haven Memorial Longobardi-Brennan Funeral Home, 425 Main St., East Haven, 203-467-1708, Feb. 3 for a Funeral Mass at St. Vincent de Paul Church.
