Patricia A. Simpson Torino of East Haven, wife of John Torino, passed away suddenly on Jan. 31.

Patricia was the daughter of James and Ann Simpson; the mother of Michael (Danielle) Torino; and the loving grandmother of Mara Anne Torino and Gage Paris. She was predeceased by her sister Anne Bradley and is survived by her sister Marge Pirolo and her in-laws Rosalie (John) Izzo and Bill (Mary) Torino. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

After her retirement from New Alliance Bank, Patricia worked part-time as a manager of the East Haven Municipal Employees Credit Union.

The family would like to thank the East Haven Fire Department and AMR and Yale-New Haven Hospital, Orchard Street Campus, for their efforts and professionalism. They would also like to thank the many family and friends who reached out during this difficult time.

The funeral left the East Haven Memorial Longobardi–Brennan Funeral Home, 425 Main St., East Haven, 203-467-1708, Feb. 4 for a Funeral Mass in St. Clare Church, East Haven. Friends called prior to the Mass.
