Sally Lang Cavallaro, 65, of North Haven passed away peacefully on March 12 at the Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford, with her family by her side. Sally was born in Clinton, Iowa, on Jan. 9, 1952, daughter of Margie Boman Lang and the late Charles Lang.

She worked for the former Stone Insurance of Meriden. One of Sally’s greatest joys was vacationing in Narragansett, Rhode Island, by its beautiful ocean.

She was the mother of Peter and Dawn Starkes; and the sister of Pat and Becky Lang, her twin Sandy Dembski and her husband Ralph, Janie Lang, and Linda and Bob Bankowski. She is also survived by her longtime loving companion, her dog Kalie.

The visiting hours were held March 16 at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated March 17 at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Ave. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
