Matthew Glenn Goodrich, 32

Branford, East Haven, and Hartford

Matthew Glenn Goodrich of Hartford, formerly of Branford and East Haven, died suddenly on March 11 in East Hartford. Matt was born in New Haven, June 20, 1984, son of Donna Collins of Branford and the late Glenn R. Goodrich.

He was a graduate of East Haven High School in 2002. Matt worked as a carpenter for Reno Storage Company. He was a kind and generous soul who loved the outdoors.

Besides his mother, he leaves his sisters Kristina (Jared) Eichensehr of Branford, and Lisa Marie Giano of Hartford; his brother Michael Giano of Branford; his nephews Tyler, Jace, and Coby; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Besides his father, he was predeceased by his grandparents Robert and Marion Beedle; his uncle Anthony M. Beedle; and his cousin Dale Beedle.

Visiting hours will be March 16 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 N. Main St., Branford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated March 17 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Branford. Burial will be private.
