North Haven

Linda M. Ventriglio Montano of North Haven entered into eternal rest suddenly on March 2 at the Midstate Medical Center, Meriden, with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 50 years to Douglas P. Montano. Linda was born in New Haven, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary DaCunto Ventriglio.

Linda worked for many years at the LancĂ´me cosmetics counter at Bon-Ton, where she loved her customers as much as they loved her.

She was the mother of Michelle (John) Pisano of Hamden and Gina (Darrell) Hackett of Wallingford. She was Mimi to Angelica, Francesca, and John Pisano; and great-Mimi to Dominic Demers. She was the sister of GraceAnn (Edward) Benoit of East Haven, Frank (Lorraine) Ventriglio of Hamden, and the late Eleanor (Tony) Marone of Hamden. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be missed by all who came to know her warm smile and caring heart.

Her funeral procession left the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., March 8. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Entombment followed in the All Saints Mausoleum. The visiting hours were March 7. For an online obituary, visit www.northhavenfuneral.com.
