Barbara Roche Millett, longtime resident of Guilford, passed away peacefully March 6 in Connecticut Hospice, Branford, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Harold F. Millett, Jr. Barbara was born Dec. 26, 1934, in New Haven, daughter of the late Francis Daniel Roche and Catherine Hyland Roche.

She was the mother of Jeffrey Millett of Wallingford; Tracey McNulty of Guilford; Gregory Millett of Madison; Lisa Millett of Clinton; Barbara Sue Chambers of Middletown; Douglas Millett of North Carolina; and Donald Millett of Clinton. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on March 9 at St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St., Guilford. Burial followed in Alder Brook Cemetery, Boston Street, Guilford. Visitation hours were held March 8 at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St., Guilford.
