Branford

Victoria Leigh Morello “Vicki” Dormer of Branford died unexpectedly on March 2. She was the beloved wife of Frank W. Dormer. Vicki was born in Reading, Pennsylvania, March 10, 1972, daughter of Louis Morello of Hamden and Melinda Saylor Morello of Hamburg, Pennsylvania.

She worked as an eTMF project leader for CE3 in Guilford. Vicki was a member of the First Congregational Church of Branford, where she was a volunteer at the Vacation Bible School and Camp Totoket. She enjoyed performing in her own high school plays and musicals and continued in that area, volunteering while her sons performed at Branford High School. She was a devoted wife and mom to her boys and especially loved to cook for them.

Besides Frank and her parents, Vicki is survived by her sons Christopher R., Samuel D., and Caleb M. “Max” Dormer, all of Branford; and by her sister Aimee Schissler of Hamburg, Pennsylvania.

Relatives and friends were invited to a funeral service March 6 at the First Congregational Church of Branford. Burial was private. The W.S. Clancy Funeral Home, 244 N. Main St., Branford, was in charge of the arrangements.
