Andrew J. DeLucia, 82, of East Haven passed away Feb. 27 in Talmadge Park. He was the beloved companion of Christine Straub with whom he resided.

He was the loving father of Andrew (Danielle) DeLucia of Kissimmee, Florida, Anthony DeLucia and his fiancée Tiffany of Corpus, Christi, Texas, and the late Terri Doheny. He was the son of the late Theresa Peloso DeLucia; the brother of Martin DeLucia of New Haven; and the father-in-law of Robert Doheny of Panama City, Florida. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, and his dear friends Anthony DelVecchio, Charles D’Agostino, and Burt Leventhal.

Prior to his retirement Andy worked for the US Postal Service for 47 years. He loved being with his family and was an avid Yankees fan. Andy was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

His funeral procession will leave the Porto Funeral Home, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven, March 7 at 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment with military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
