Dolores Altmannsberger, 88, wife of the late LeRoy Altmannsberger, passed away at Fowler Nursing Center, Guilford, on Feb. 5. She was born Aug. 25, 1928, daughter of the late Paul and Mildred Delaware.

Del worked in the banking business for more than 25 years and loved every aspect of it. Upon retiring she and Roy spent half the year at their cottage in Northfield, Maine. She was loved by many.

She is survived by her children Diane Crockett (her significant other Bob Cox), Claudia Melillo, and Mark Altmannsberger (his significant other Dale Bartsch). She also leaves three grandchildren, Laura (Rob) Blake, Kenny Melillo, and Abby (Brian) Frutchey; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Merle Cox, and a grandson, Matthew Crockett.

Graveside services will be held privately at Nut Plains Cemetery, Guilford. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter, 200 Executive Blvd., Ste. 4B, Southington, CT 06489.
