Michael Cerrito, 73, of East Haven, passed away on Dec. 30. He was born in New Haven to the late Michael and Gilda Ardolino Cerrito on May 27, 1943.

He was a teacher and administrator in the Westbrook Public Schools for almost 20 years.

He is survived by his wife Lorraine of 51 years. He is also survived by his sons Christopher (Tina) and David (Erin); four grandchildren; and a brother, Douglas of Florida. Mike enjoyed boating, fishing, and also playing cards. He especially enjoyed playing cards with his friends at the Senior Center.

A Memorial Mass for family only was held Jan. 14 at St. Bernadette’s Church, 385 Townsend Ave., New Haven.
