Ardythe Stanio, 81, of East Haven passed away Jan. 31 at Connecticut Hospice. She was born March 15, 1935, in Waterbury to Robert and Mildred (Henebry) Erwin.

Ardythe is survived by her loving son Arnold Stanio (companion, Patricia Genero) of East Haven; and four granddaughters, Arika Reid (Chris), and Emily, Rachel, and Sydney Stanio. Ardythe is also survived by her siblings Edna Upson (Weaver) of Florida, Robert Erwin of Connecticut, and Gary Erwin of Massachusetts; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arnold Stanio (2013), and brother Thomas Erwin.

Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian burial on Feb. 9 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Clare Catholic Church, 234 Coe Ave., East Haven, with Committal to follow at East Lawn Cemetery.
