11/17/2014 11:00 PMDorothy M. Brusco, 85, of Deep River, died on Nov. 16 at Yale-New Haven Hospital after a period of declining health. She was born in Westfield, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Stephen R. and Mary (Bogden) Brusco.
Dorothy graduated from Westfield High School in 1948 and later worked for the City of Westfield for 25 years, and the last 8 years as city treasurer, before retiring. She lived in Deep River for the past 20 years.
She is survived by her children Paul Santowski of Deep River, Jennifer G. Brusco of Haddam, and Mark I. Brusco of Chester; and her brother Rev. Stephen R. Brusco, Jr., and his wife Pauline of Gilsum, New Hampshire. Dorothy was predeceased by her sister Ruth Henzel.
