Marvin Weinrib, 90, of Branford, died on Aug. 3 at the Hospital of St. Raphael. He was the husband of the late Thelma Forchielli Weinrib.

He is survived by his children Shelley Adkins (husband Frank) of Branford, Karen Murphy (husband Daniel) of Old Tappan, New Jersey, and Michael Weinrib (wife Leslie) of Lexington, South Carolina. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Martin Weinrib, his sister Mildred Coan, and his brother Jack Dennett.

Marvin was born in New Haven on Aug. 12, 1924, a son of Lewis Weinrib and Myra Goldstein Riccitelli. During World War II, he served his country in the U.S. Army. He was the owner of Royal Foam in Branford, retiring 15 years ago.
