07/10/2014 12:00 AMManuel A. Sordo, 92, of Old Saybrook, died on July 1 in Old Saybrook.
He was born on Feb. 18, 1922, in Cuba, the son of Manuel Sordo and Maria Yzquierdo Sordo.
Mr. Sordo worked for the Cramer Company in Old Saybrook for 25 years. He enjoyed gardening and loved watching boxing and the Red Sox. He loved swimming and when he lived in Cuba, he was a champion swimmer.
Mr. Sordo is survived by his wife Yolanda; sons Richard Sordo of Lebanon and Alexander and his wife Darcy of Clinton; and grandchildren Christine, Benjamin, Emily, and Kaitlyn.
Services will be private.
