Alessandra J. Stellavato Manguilli, 89, North Haven


Sandra (Gram, Mema) Manguilli, 89, of North Haven died at her home surrounded by her large, beloved family. Born on Feb. 26, 1925 in New Haven, Sandra was the daughter of Maria Stellavato (Ricciardelli) and Lorenzo Stellavato. She devoted her entire life to her late husband of 67 years, George F. Manguilli, her five adoring children, Dennis (Diane) Manguilli, Sr., Karen Manguilli Bernardo (Steve Marcarelli), George (Nina) Manuilli, Jr., and twins Joseph (Kathleen) Manguilli, and Larry (Loriann) Manguilli, her 13 children, Dennis Manguilli, Jr., Gina (Manguilli) Moran, Tara (Manguilli) Boisjolie (Dave), Kylah Bernardo, Ashley Bernardo, Michelle Manguilli, Karlee Manguilli, Kyle Manguilli, Emory Manguilli, Kendall Manguilli, Chloe Manguilli, Kassie Manguilli, and Caleigh Manguilli, and eight great-grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Brian, and Michael Moran, and Taylor, Gavin, Tyler, and Gianna Boijolie. She is survived by her siblings, Carmen Stellavato, Frank (Barbara) Stellavato, and pre-deceased by Ann (Stellavato) Manzione, and Anthony Stellavato.

Relatives and friends are invited to go directly to St. Francis Cabrini Church, Pond Hill Road, on Wednesday for a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m., and to attend interment services in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, North Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation, 127 Washington Ave., North Haven, CT 06473.
