Evaldo Andrade, 75, Clinton


Evaldo (Erik) M. Andrade, 75, beloved husband of 50 years to Vera Andrade of Clinton, died on May 31.  He was born on July 8, in Fortaleza, Brazil, son of the late Jose and Maria Clauthenes Andrade. Evaldo was employed for 20 years at TRW Geometric Tool, as well as Connecticut Limousine.  He graduated with honors from Paier School of Art in Hamden and took pleasure in being a wedding photographer for over 20 years. 

Evaldo was a devoted husband and father, and he cherished time spent with family and friends.  A self-taught musician, he enjoyed playing his guitar and composing songs.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two loving daughters, Georgia Armenia and her husband John of Chester and Andrea Hogan and her husband Matthew of Wallingford, as well as his adored grandchildren, Jenna Paula and Samuel John Armenia and Isabella Paula Hogan.  He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He was predeceased by his brother Evandro Andrade of Fortaleza, Brazil. 

A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church of the Visitation in Clinton on Saturday, June 8, at 11 a.m.   Private burial will take place at the convenience of the family.   The Swan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Please visit www.swanfh.com for condolences and tributes.
