12/04/2012 11:00 AMLee Kenneth Franzman, 61, of Hamden died Nov. 20 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Mr. Franzman was born in New Haven on April 24, 1951, a son of the late Julius and Clementina "Deana" Abate Franzman. He had resided in New Haven for most of his life and in Hamden for the past 10 years. Mr. Franzman was a security guard for Specta Guard, and had previously worked for other area security companies. Before becoming a security guard he was employed at the former Marlin Firearms of North Haven.
Mr. Franzman is survived by a daughter Stephanie Gallagher and her husband Christopher of Bridgeport, a son David Franzman and his wife Kirsten of East Haven, a sister Claire DiLeone of New Haven, and two brothers, Alan (Kathryn) Franzman of Brookfield and Gerald Franzman of Florida. He was predeceased by his stepmother Margaret Nunziante Franzman and his brother Norman Franzman.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 1 p.m. at St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. The Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Avenue, North Haven has been entrusted with arrangements.
