11/02/2012 04:00 PMMadelyn Hanmer Sisson Kmetzo, 86, of Guilford, died Oct. 30 at the Marlborough Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Julius Kmetzo. Madelyn was born in East Haven on Feb. 7, 1926, daughter of the late George and Ida Sisson. She was a former employee of the Guilford Savings Bank and a member of the Foxon Homemakers.
Her family wishes to thank the staffs of The Madison House, the Middlesex Hospital Hospice, and the Marlborough Health Care Center for all the wonderful care Madelyn was given.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Alan Crossley of Marlborough. She was predeceased by her daughter Deborah.
Graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Middlesex Hospital Weiss Hospice Unit, Office of Philanthropy, 28 Crescent St., Middletown, CT 06457.
