Marta L. Thumler, 81, Wallingford

Marta L. Thumler, 81, of 181 Main Street, Wallingford, died June 18 at the MidState Medical Center in Meriden.  She was the wife of the late Iwer H. Thumler, Sr. Marta was born in Guinea, Cuba, on Sept. 6, 1930, daughter of the late Guillermo and Zoila Mena Fernandez. She had worked for U.S. Surgical until her retirement. 

She is survived by her son, Iwer G. Thumler, Jr., and his wife Rosemarie of Northford. Funeral services were private. The North Haven Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
