Kevin Handy, 53, West Haven

Kevin Handy, 53, died at his home in West Haven on Dec. 15.  He was the loving husband of Lorelei (Downing) Handy. He was born in New Haven on Sept. 6, 1957, beloved son of Raymond and Doris Handy of Guilford. Kevin enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid NASCAR fan.  He will be loved and missed everyday by everyone whose lives he touched.

Besides his beloved wife and loving parents, he is survived by his children, Michael of Guilford, Jason and his wife Brandy of Branford, Timothy and his wife Laura of West Haven, and Kristina and her husband Mario of Ansonia; four grandchildren, Ti-Kee, Gabriella, Isabella, and Jonathan; his sister, Bethanne Handy of East Haven; and a long time family friend, Diane Bergeron of East Haven.  

A graveside service will take place on Saturday, Dec. 18, at 1 p.m., in Alder Brook Cemetery, 387 Boston St., Guilford.
