Kathryn Milum, 78 Madison


Kathryn Milum, 78, a lifelong resident of Madison, died at her home on April 18, surrounded by her loved ones. She was the wife of the late Jack Milum. She was born in Madison and raised her three children there, devoting her life and love to them. She kept herself busy with her children and their many activities.

Kathryn was a giving person who supported numerous charitable organizations. Her passion was St. Jude. She also enjoyed weekend trips on the T.W. & Company to Block Island and Montauk with friends and family. She was admired and respected by everyone who knew her and she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by two daughters, Kim Milum of Madison and Jacqueline Lee and her husband Richard of Point Pleasant, New Jersey; her sister, Tilba Koppel of West Palm Beach, Florida; and four loving grandchildren, Matthew, Meredith, Alexandra, and Dovonvan Lee, all of Point Pleasant, New Jersey. She was predeceased by her brother Fredrick Rocca and her loving son John Milum.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on April 22 at St. Margaret's Church, Madison. Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery, Clinton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital, St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The Swan Funeral Home, Madison, was in charge of arrangements.
