Press Release from East Haven Police Department

The East Haven Police Department has made an arrest in relation to a March 17 home invasion in which an individual—later identified as William Pagan, 23, of New Haven—forced his way into a residence on Thompson Street allegedly in search of a high-dollar-value feline. The investigation revealed Pagan’s involvement in the incident that led Detective Jon Trinh to submit an arrest warrant affidavit seeking his arrest. With the assistance of the West Haven Police Department, Pagan was taken into custody without incident in West Haven.

Pagan was charged with home invasion, conspiracy to commit home invasion, threatening in the second degree, unlawful restraint in the first degree, and larceny in the sixth degree.

Pagan was held on a $750,000 court-set bond and faced a judge in New Haven court on April 2.
