The North Branford Town Council has awarded the Totoket Historical Society $7,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds which the council has reserved for critical local nonprofits making a difference in North Branford.
Like many other nonprofits doing important local work, the Totoket Historical Society was adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Town Council made this award to help ensure the Totoket Historical Society can continue the operational tasks associated with preserving North Branford’s unique history, particularly through locations like the Reynolds Beers House, the Gordon S. Miller Barn, the Little White Gas Station, and the Little Red School House.
