The deadline for nonprofits to apply to the North Branford Town Council for American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) relief funds has been set for April 1.
The council set aside a $50,000 pool from federal ARPA funds to be made available to local nonprofits adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, several nonprofit organizations have applied for and have been awarded funding.
Eligible non-profits should operate within the Town of North Branford, have a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(19) designation, be established prior to March 1, 2020, and should have experienced negative economic impacts due to COVID-19.
