The Madison Chamber of Commerce held Souper Bowl VIII 2024 on Feb. 24 in downtown Madison, featuring local businesses and organizations competing for the best chili, soup, or stew. Madison Hose Company No. 1 took first place for their chili in the Judge’s Choice and People’s Choice Awards. Donahue’s Madison Beach Grille took first place for soup/chowder in the Judge’s Choice Award, with William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty taking first place in the People’s Choice Award for soup/chowder.
