The Town of North Branford announces a temporary parking ban effective from Saturday, Jan. 6, at 5 p.m. until Sunday, Jan. 7 at midnight. This ban is per Town Code §§ 220-8, which allows the Traffic Authority or Chief of Police to suspend parking temporarily to facilitate snow removal and ensure safe traffic flow during severe weather conditions.

Police Chief Kevin Halloran urges all residents to adhere strictly to this temporary parking ban. "Our priority is the safety and well-being of our community. By following this parking ban, residents will significantly aid the Public Works Department in quickly and efficiently clearing the roads of snow and ice.
