Officials of the Town of North Branford welcomed two new businesses, Sweet Poppy’s Bakery and WeFixIt!, with ceremonial ribbon-cuttings on Dec. 7 to celebrate their openings.

State Representative Vincent Candelora (R, District 86), North Branford Town Manager Michael Downes, Assistant Town Manager Rory Burke, Economic Development Commission member Scott Small, and Nancy Gerson of Guilford Savings Bank helped to celebrate the business openings with their owners.

Sweet Poppy's bakery specializes in allergen-free baked goods such as cakes, cupcakes, muffins and whoopee pies. Come check them out at their location in the plaza at 1717 Foxon Road.
