Press release from Cindy Golia, North Haven Garden Club

Members of the North Haven Garden Club recently pitched in to give the garden at the North Haven Memorial Library a new look.

The fence that had been on the curbside garden by the entrance of the library was removed, and the garden was redesigned by Lee Fermo and Cindy Adinolfi. A hydrangea was donated and planted by Claudia Fasano. Fermo planted several perennial phlox, and Golia scattered Mexican sunflower and zinnia seeds in the garden. A path through the garden was made with pavers that were donated to the club. The beautiful perennials in the gardens are expected to come alive within the next few weeks.
