April 17, 2023: Please join us in welcoming Branford Police Department’s (BPD) newest members of the Patrol Division, Officer Casey McCone and Officer Andrew Luzzi.
Officer McCone graduated from the University of Bridgeport in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences with a focus in Criminal Justice.
He was hired by Nelson Ambulance in 2018 and spent three years there as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). He then worked for Norwalk Hospital for the past two years as an EMT until he joined BPD.
Officer Luzzi attended Albertus Magnus College and graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 2022.
He interned with New Haven Police before coming to BPD.
We are happy to have both of these new officers with us and we are wishing them a safe and successful career. They are both looking forward to serving the Town of Branford!
