Branford Warming Centers to Open During Extreme Cold

As frigid temperatures are expected to impact our area over the next couple of days, the Town of Branford has announced that the following locations will serve as warming centers during this extreme cold event:

Community House located at 46 Church Street will remain open on Friday, Feb. 3 and Saturday, Feb. 4, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

James Blackstone Memorial Library, 758 Main St., will remain open on Friday, Feb. 3 and Saturday, Feb. 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Willoughby Wallace Memorial Library, 146 Thimble Island Road (Stony Creek) will remain open on Friday, Feb. 3 and Saturday, Feb. 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Do not visit any of these facilities if you are sick or have been in close contact with someone that has tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 10 days.
