Branford Police Report Vehicle Break-Ins, Ask Residents to Stay Vigilant

Following vehicle break-ins on the west side of town during the night of Aug. 11, the Branford Police Department (BPD) is asking residents to stay vigilant by removing valuables from their parked vehicles.

The incidents occurred in the areas of Turtle Bay, Gentile Road, Florence Road, and The Greens condominiums. Police ask any residing in those areas who may have video of the break-ins or any attempted break-ins on August 11 to call 203-481-4241.

In a post shared on the BPD Facebook page on Aug. 12, police said many of the vehicles involved had windows broken, in addition to items taken from the vehicles.
