On Friday, Dec. 3, the North Branford community will once again gather together in the chilly evening air to experience and enjoy the annual Town Tree Lighting.  The event returns as an in-person gathering after being held last year as a successful drive-through event, due to the pandemic.

The tree lighting takes place, snow or shine, Fri. Dec. 3, 6:30 - 8 p.m., at the town-owned Augur property, 290 Forest Road. The night's guest of honor, Santa Claus, will light the tree at 7 p.m.

Organized by North Branford Parks and Recreation and co-sponsored by North Branford Rotary Club, the annual tree lighting event brings out residents to share in the holiday spirit and season at the same site where North Branford holds its Potato and Corn Festival.
