On March 27, volunteers and members from Vox Church distributed more than 400 portable Easter egg hunt kits to local families as a part of the church’s You’ve Been Egg’d campaign. Every participating home received a miniature Easter egg hunt set up in their yard for the family to enjoy, while also receiving enough supplies to pay the fun forward by gifting a similar egg hunt to a neighbor.
“We were honored to be a part of sharing the love of Jesus by providing an Easter experience for over 400 families in a safe and creative way,” said Vox Church Kids Director Maria Conrad. “Countless stories were shared of kids and families being surprised by this experience on their front lawns. It was a fun and memorable way of celebrating the Easter season!”
The idea for the unique portable Easter egg hunts was birthed as a result of the Vox Church Kids and Outreach ministry teams’ search for a way to bring a safe and socially distanced experience to local families during the Easter season. Dozens of volunteers spent their Saturday distributing the kits.
