Valley Regional Students Compete in Yale Invitational Debate Tournament

On Sept. 14 and 15, Katherine Morrissey, Ava Cunningham, Nicolas Wyszkowski, Benjamin Proctor, Caroline Haskins, and Reagan Brenneman represented Valley Regional High School’s Debate Team to compete in the 27th annual Yale Invitational, a speech and debate tournament at Yale University. The Yale Debate Association, the most successful intercollegiate debating society in North America, hosts this illustrious competition. Close to 1,500 students from 26 states throughout the nation competed in this year’s event.
