Guilford Public Schools Welcome New Staff
When the new school year starts on Thursday, Aug. 30, some familiar faces and some new faces will greet students. The district is welcoming 20 new teachers and administrators to the district. On Aug. 23, the Courier stopped by Guilford High School to photograph the new teachers:

Nicholas Abraham: “My love for music has taken me to perform in over 25 states!”
Anna Bouteneff: “Worked at Northeastern University in Boston and a financial software company that was based in Paris, France.”
Kathryn Gencarelli: “I come from a family of mostly teachers.”
Simone Moulthrop: “Just got a golden doodle puppy.”
Allison O’Brien: “I have a dog named after a piece of science glassware—Beaker!’
Devyn Pryor: “I have a tortoise named Gus that is expected to live up to 100 years old!”
Sarah Ryan: “I was born in London and got to go back and teach music there.”
Nicole Siley: “I have been skydiving and would like to get my license in it.”
Julie Swanson: “I am not a native Spanish speaker. I lived in Costa Rica during college and perfected my Spanish.”
