U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service volunteer and Environmental Hiking & Archaeology Club advisor Patricia Laudano checks in on Aerial Vlanowicz and Bella Raffone’s spotted salamander pond life station during the Walk on the Wild Side program at the Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge. Visitors to the May 17 program were able to tour interactive stations highlighting local ecosystems throughout the preserve.
