In Business: Xfinity Store

Comcast recently held a special reception and ribbon-cutting event to announce the grand opening of its interactive Xfinity Store in North Haven. The 4,200-square-foot space has been designed entirely around the needs of customers, providing them with an opportunity to explore, learn about, and interact directly with the latest Xfinity products and services.

Elected officials and community leaders including Connecticut State Senate Republican Leader Len Fasano, Connecticut State Representative David Yaccarino, and North Haven First Selectman Michael J. Freda came out to help celebrate the opening and tour the new store. Michelle Riley, director of development for Easter Seals Goodwill Industries, was also in attendance to accept a $2,500 donation made by Comcast to the organization's Family Learning Center afterschool program.

The new, interactive Xfinity Store, the fifth of its kind in Connecticut, features flat-screen HD TVs, a comfortable seating area, and informational displays about Comcast's products and services, including X1, Xfinity Home, and Comcast's suite of mobile apps. Additionally, customers will receive personalized service from trained and knowledgeable sales consultants and more time-saving offerings, including self-service kiosks for quick bill pay and a new queuing system that allows customers to explore and be entertained while waiting for service.
