In Business: Paint Stix

Owner Anne Gaffney has opened Paint Stix, an art studio offering kids' classes, mosaic classes, and paint-your-own-bowl events, in downtown Essex. Group classes and workshops can accommodate up to 12 people. Paint Stix also offers a mobile-painting business; Gaffney will travel to restaurants and events to offer groups the chance to select one painting and recreate it. With "Sip, Paint, Repeat," participants bring their own food and wine and paint wineglasses.
