Clinton Police Incident Report for July 1 and 2
Wednesday, July 1
• A 37 year-old man of Cedar Island was arrested at 4:34 p.m. and charged with assault in the first degree, risk of injury to a minor, tampering with or fabricating evidence, and interfering with an officer. In the same incident a 45 year-old man arrested and charged with tampering with or fabricating evidence, interfering with an officer, making a false statement in the second degree, and interfering with an officer.
• Identity theft was reported on Ironworks Road at 3:14 p.m.
Thursday, July 2
• A 27 year-old man of a Glenwood Road apartment was arrested at 10:40 a.m. and charged with larceny in the third degree, credit card theft, and illegal use of credit card.
• A 41 year-old Centerbrook man was arrested at 6:39 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident), and failure to drive right following a motor vehicle accident on Old Post Road.
• A 67 year-old Madison man was arrested at 7:37 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• An untimely death was investigated on East Main Street at 9:38 a.m.
• The theft of a bicycle was reported on West Main Street at 4:54 p.m.
