Millpond Gatherings is an all encompassing destination location. We source the freshest foods from our local farmers, celebrate the joining of families & friends, offer you a place to stay on our historic property, while exploring hundreds of acres on our surrounding farmland.

"Millpond Gatherings is unique unto itself," said Andrew Bozzuto, co-owner and CEO. "Millpond Steakhouse is quite literally 'the table at the farm' as all of our grass fed beef is from our own cattle farm right up the road, 3B Ranch. We have master butchers, and our steaks will be dry aged on site, supervised by our Executive Chef, Pedro Avila. We also offer fresh fish caught by local fishermen and fruits and vegetables from local farmers."

We are centrally located in Connecticut just 20 minutes outside of both Hartford and New Haven and just across the street from an operating vineyard on the Connecticut wine trail.

It is anticipated that the Market will open fall 2022 and the Inn to begin construction in spring 2023.

"The site is rich in history dating back to the late 1700s," Bozzuto said. "The hydro powered water wheel at the dam on the Farm River empowered the site to become an 18th century 'incubator' for businesses with over 10 patents being granted to products invented and produced at the site."

Bozzuto also mentioned that after its days as a button, rake, ladle and ladder manufacturing facility, David Stevens opened up a greeting card company on the site pre-dating Hallmark, making Northford "the greeting card capital of the US" for a short period. The site is listed on The National Historic Places of New Haven County in 2002.

The Bozzuto family's goal is to make Millpond Gatherings a sought after New England destination and to put our quaint town of Northford back on the map by offering guests near and far a seat at our table on the farm.
